New design for the 12" tank with 9 notes is sounding good. Check the clip. Available on Purchase page. Lots of fun to play.
I want to share these words that came to me today by email from a new customer in San Francisco. Obviously it's difficult for me to speak without bias about my drums. But Richard did many hours of research for a handpan alternative, and listened to pretty much every drum out there. He is referring to my new 17" drum, which is shown below. These are his words:
"I spent almost my entire day yesterday wearing my headphones and listening to, Oh maybe, 20 different drum types, reviewing countless websites and YouTube channels; your's was the best sounding hands down. Actually, after I went to bed last night I was like a kid before Christmas I couldn't get your drum off my mind." Richard P., San Francisco, 12/3/14
I encourage potential tank drum buyers to do some research before buying, as with any instrument. Watch the video below to see and hear for your self the difference in four brands: Hapi, Milltone, Garrahand, and my Dragon Drum. I like how Jeff plays with no commentary, so people can hear them in the same space with the same mallets, without bias.

At first, making these drums was more of a business idea. But then as I made my first batch of 10 drums in July of 2013, I realized I had stumbled onto making a very special musical drum.
