This is the best steel tongue drum I have ever played. I've been working on this 17" diameter instrument for about 10 months with various alloys and thicknesses. Weighs only 7 pounds. Three scales available for pre-order of the first batch of 32 instruments. Key of B minor mode, C mixolydian, and F minor are available. I ask for a deposit of $75 to reserve one of the first batch. The steel alloy I chose for this instrument is much harder than the steel used for most other steel tongue drums. Harder alloy equals more ring and resonance. The introductory price is $329 plus $30 = $359 for the drum and packaging/shipping in the U.S. Play with hands or mallets that are included. $284 due when drum is ready to ship in January/February of 2015.
